Comments from casts and director of “Shigofumi”

“Shigofumi” is a media-mix work published from Dengeki Bunko by Tatsuo Sato × Ichiro Okouchi × Kouhaku Kuroboshi which will be made into Anime.

It depicts the reason for being and meaning of living mainly through Fumika, a shigofumi deliverer who delivers letters from the dead to living people, and her partner, Kanaka.

Please tell us about your character

Fumika: Kana Ueda

Fumika is a very mysterious girl who delivers shigofumi.

Does the story show why Fumika became a shigofumi deliverer?

Director Tatsuo Sato

I will describe the reason why she delivers it in the story later on.

Ueda

It will be described by and by, but in the beginning, she is a strange girl who suddenly appears to deliver letters.

Please tell us your thoughts after finishing postproduction of the first episode

Director Sato

Everything is slightly off from each other, like how characters think, and I’m doing this intentionally. People have to live as long as they are alive no matter what and the story depicts this philosophy of life that everyone can sympathize.

You can catch a glimpse of this through lives of shigofumi deliverers.

I’m not yet sure about how the Anime will turn out, but I’m having a very positive feeling so please look forward to it.

Please give a message to your fans

Ueda

Casts are also looking forward to watching the next story and I’m confident that the first episode will be very exciting so I hope everyone will watch it every week.
